Message	SUV. I believe Nissan is using the Pathfinder name bridge the familiarity of the regular Pathfinder with this new one. I'd expect that they will drop the Pathfinder from the name in about a year and it will then be known only as the Armada. The same thing was done with the Altima 10 years ago. When it was released in '93 it was technically known as the Stanza Altima. This was done in an effort to help keep insurance rates down on the new car since the insurance companies would have a reference on the books leading back to the Stanza. This is probably another contributor to the Armada having the Pathfinder name too. Dave PS: The current Pathfinder will be replaced with a new model - but it won't be the Armada. I've seen a concept picture in one of the car magazines The new design will have obvious similarity to the Armada.
